Life groups are at the core of what we do at MBCC. It is important to do life TOGETHER so we can encourage and support each other.

Worship Ministry
Worship is the expression of our love, our deepest affection and the offering of the highest level of praise to the Lord Jesus. The Bible exhorts us to love the Lord with all our hearts, our souls, mind and strength and to lift up holy praise to Him.
At MBCC, we gather to raise songs of adoration that reflects our desire to worship the Lord Jesus in spirit and in truth, to offer Him heartfelt, God-centered, scripturally sound worship that mirrors our yearning to know Him and to make Him known.

Chinese Choir
The Mairangi Bay Chinese Christian Choir is a dedicated group of believers who use the power of music to glorify God and share His love with the community. With a deep passion for worship, the choir brings together individuals of all ages who desire to praise the Lord through song.
Their repertoire includes traditional hymns, contemporary Christian music, and Chinese worship songs, creating a heartfelt and uplifting atmosphere in every performance. Whether singing in church services, community events, or special celebrations, the choir’s mission is to inspire faith, hope, and unity through the message of God’s love.
Beyond music, the choir is a close-knit spiritual family, supporting one another in faith and fellowship. Through prayer, worship, and service, they seek to be a light in the community, drawing others closer to Christ. New members are always welcome to join in singing for His glory!

Youth Ministry
At 180 Youth, our mission is to see young people experience the life-changing power of Jesus, turning from their old ways to embrace a new path filled with faith, purpose, and hope. We are passionate about creating a space where youth can grow spiritually, build meaningful connections, and discover their God-given potential.
Our Youth gatherings take place every Friday night from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at our church facilities, where we come together for an exciting and faith-filled experience. We have our own 180 worship band leading powerful praise and worship, inspiring and empowering God-centered messages, delicious food, and fun games. These nights are filled with opportunities to connect with other young people, form lasting friendships, and be part of a supportive community.

Welcome to the vibrant young adult’s ministry at Mairangi Bay Community Church! Our community caters to young adults aged between 18 and 38, offering a variety of life groups that meet every Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Children’s Ministry
We are delighted to welcome you and your children to our vibrant and engaging Children’s Ministry. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn about the love of Jesus Christ through fun and interactive experiences. Elijah House NZ is a charitable trust registered with New Zealand Charities Services.
Elijah House’s aim is to participate in the reconciling work of God to restore broken relationships and bring healing to wounded hearts and lives. Their heartbeat is to see lives transformed and people come into greater freedom and wholeness.

Outreach Programs
Alpha
Alpha began at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) in London in 1977 and was repositioned by Nicky Gumbel in 1990 as a course for those outside the church. Its success at HTB quickly attracted the attention of other churches looking for effective evangelism tools.
In 1993, HTB hosted the first Alpha conference, drawing over 1,000 church leaders eager to learn about the course. As interest grew, Alpha conferences were organized internationally, and the original Alpha Film Series was created in 1994 to reach a wider audience.
Today, millions of people worldwide have experienced Alpha, and the course has been translated into over 100 languages, making it a global phenomenon.

Foodbank
Every Friday afternoon, our dedicated team gathers to pack food boxes for the needy in our local community. Setup begins at 11 am, and the packing starts around 2 pm once the donations arrive. Volunteers are welcome to join at any time and stay for as long as they can.

Drive through prayer
Ministries like this serves to remind people that they are not alone and that prayer is a powerful tool. Whether someone is dealing with
